"Juxtaposing
modes of representation [on a divided field]
-- Working in a continuum from mimesis to improvisation, I am developing
a body of work cohesive around the idea of juxtaposed modes of representation.
What is constant is an exploratory approach to juxtaposition; making
an art based on oppositions and contradictions, but also on confluences,
echoes, affinities. A curious collision of styles, but I see them as
one. They share a distinct sensibility. "
